Whitt has to know this. Playing to what amounts being a small scatterback guy at the position who cannot throw the ball consistently enough, as well as being a QB who is being undone by a questionable offensive system not playing to his strengths – all this is doing more bad than good. NJ is best in drips and drabs – he’s not a full time 4 quarter signal caller. This team should be Barnes’s team until Rising can make it back. Barnes looks the part, throws a better and more accurate football and has some polish as a QB. Barnes gives the offense a much better shot to execute more consistently. Stick with Barnes.
