Tony Fields narrowed his list to 3: Texas, West Virginia, and Minnesota. Thought he could’ve solved an issue for us at LB. Hope we have another LB we are working on for this year…that is, of course, assuming the year happens. Go Utes!

You know, last year it looked very similar when manny Bowen left camp.  We were sweating that spot.   Then, enter devin Lloyd.

        just sayin…

If the season gets cancelled and that player enters the draft, then we use up an initial for zero reason.  He also eats reps up for the younger players however you look at it.  I just don’t see us completing a 2020 season , so I’d rather plan for 2021 than 2020.

      Utah never offered.

Fields jump the gun in his Utah offer tweet and then quickly deleted it.

I was going to bring this up as well, but I wasn’t sure how widely known it was, and I got the info off of a pay site.

im confused on how that works, why would he post a picture of an offer from Utah if he never got one?

That’s why it was taken off his Twitter so quickly thereafter.  There was a miscommunication,  and he wasn’t officially given an offer.  Utah must have reached out and shown interest, but no official offer.
