It’s going to be interesting to see how he reacts and responds when he gets here…he can play all 3 at a D1 level. If he adds weight which they think he will he probably outgrows the LB spot quickly. If he’s like Mata’afa and struggles to do so he might still end up at LB.
There are still other high quality LB’s in play that we’re chasing so it’s probably smart to list him as a DE right now as well. Either way this guy will be a 4 star recruit after a ratings bump provided he plays his HS season. This is a big get and Jaylon Johnson’s success here had a large part in him coming out of nowhere to become a Ute.
