        Agreed, a lot of sloppy passes. Houston is going to score, they’re #6 for a reason. Utah just has to keep up….and make their free throws already. So many missed 1 and 1 chances

          I am listening on the radio so I don’t know exactly what it is happening. But I agree. Missed free throws especially frustrate me. Something I have noticed for many years now.
          That’s how you beat teams better than you. You make those easy gimmes.

      Please never play Erickson again he has no skills.

      Deivon Smith needs to be cleared ASAP. Have you guys seen his highlights at Georgia Tech. OMG. What’s his status? He is what we need to spell Worster.

      Worster is not a point guard. Why can’t we recruit a quick athletic point guard? Doesn’t seem that hard. Houston is athletic and pressures the ball. We have nobody that can handle the pressure at guard.

      Not a bad loss at all. Clean up the turnovers which Houston is good at forcing. Take a little bit more high percentage shots you make Houston really panic.

      Turnovers, rebounding, and free throws will always be the three most important things in basketball.

      – If you turn the ball over you are giving the other team extra chances to score points and missing chances yourself.
      – If you give up offensive rebounds, it is essentially the same as a turnover.
      – Free throws are called free for a reason. They are FREE POINTS. Every kid who wants to be a basketball player should be shooting at least 100 free throws a day as soon as they are able to shoot it that far. Missing free throws is giving up free points.

      If you win the turnover battle, the rebound battle, and the free throw battle, you are almost certainly going to win the basketball game.

      Any word on Keita? Could have used his athleticism, but you play with who you have and don’t make excuses. Both hope he’s not out very long (could use Exacte back too at some point).

      Liking this Ute team though.

      I turned on the game and we were down 10. It was a ton of fun to watch Utah tie the game up. I really enjoyed Utah basketball for the first time since Delon was here.

      And then I found out Houston is a top 10 team. That’s crazy how well we played them. It’s exciting stuff.
