They are going full steam ahead and still they’re without their best skier, Roni Remme, who is still in Europe competing on the World Cup (she finished 7th in a World Cup combined on Sunday despite making a major mistake). She’ll be back for nationals in March.
For those who are good skiers: They need a lot of volunteers to pull off these races. If you want to volunteer, they’ll hook you up with your lift ticket for the day so you can go skiing when you’re not volunteering. I’ve done that for local races – it’s a total blast. Plus you get a front row seat to some really high-level racing.
