The best part about this tweet are the replies by Dennis Kuithe. Last year Brant played at 215 lbs, this year he is 235 lbs, also Cole Fotheringham was straight off a mission last year, both freshman.

Troy Taylor was clueless on how to use the TE. They should get a lot more pub this year as they are both extremely talented.

Maybe he could have utilized them more, but I don’t think two freshman TE’s would be rated so high if TT was “clueless on how to use the TE”.

I’m as excited as anyone for the new OC, but I don’t get why Ute fans feel the need to s**t on TT. We were getting so much love last year for our offensive schemes (similar to the Rams) and we had four straight 40 plus games for the first time in the PAC-12 era.

His spread elements were not very good. When he went to the strength of the talent of his players he performed much better. I liked TT and still feel he was better than Roderick or Schramm. However my big knock is his aversion to using Moss at times.

I completely agree with you. I’m just saying the hate is unwarranted.

“Hate” or saying he was “clueless”. I don’t know fans are fans. Kuithe did drop a walk in TD against Washington. I am more upset about the execution of TT’s plays than the play calling itself.

Which has remained fairly consistent for awhile. I always felt like Chow got the most with the least out of all the OC’s Whitt has had.

Clueless was harsh. I guess I agree with most that we did not play to our strengths as a team especially with Moss. Hopefully we will not be hearing any fire Ludwig chants for the foreseeable future. 🙂 Go Utes.

He ran that bunch formation a lot with 2 TE and 2 WR.  I think he used them well.
