…in the 2024 ASUN Lacrosse Championship tournament, which amounts to a 1st round bye, to face the winner of the #4 (Bellarmine)/#5 (Cleveland St) game on Friday, May 3rd.
In the 3-yrs we’ve been a member of the ASUN, we’ve picked up the #1 seed 3 times. We’d won the regular season outright in both 2022 and 2023, going undefeated in both years. In 2024, we’d finished in a 3-way tie with Air Force and Jacksonville, at 8-1 (.889). Utah was edged 11-12 by Air Force back in March after our final goal was waived off — just missing the game clock. We’d beaten Jacksonville 16-14 ten days later. And Jacksonville edged Air Force in OT earlier this month.
Air Force picked up the #2 seed, and will face the winner of the #3 (Jacksonville)/#6 (Robert Morris) game, also on Friday, May 3rd.
Utah is truly the class of this conference. The CCG will be on the campus of Air Force this year, so all you Utah alumni on here who live in the Colorado Springs area should head on out there, and cheer on our Utes!
