        I’m really happy about this one. Jason will be a great QB for us. I am thrilled that we finally have an Oh-Fensive coaching staff who knows how to develop a potent passing/rushing attack.

        I also love that the big critique of him is his size, which in high school was listed at 5’9″-5’11” and 150#-160#. Utah website now shows him as 6’0″ and 181#. Give him a few years with the team and Doug Elisaia will turn him into a beast! Doug Elisaia is one of the best Strength and Conditioning coaches in the country.

          I have to assume a big part of the reason he’s only ranked at 3 stars is due to his size. 5-11 to 6′ works at the college level (hell, even in the NFL) if the skillset and grit is there. I’m sure Shelly’s been told countless times he’s just too short. Don’t know anything about the kid, but history tells me he’ll have a chip on his shoulder coming in.

            I am very happy he stuck with us. He really blew up his SR year, just like Tyler Huntley. Shelley’s numbers were out of this world.

            We have great talent in the pipeline at QB.

              And now we have somebody to develop them, and give them an opportunity to run a dynamic offense. I’m already starting to get jacked. Somebody throw some shade my way, talk me down with some pessimism.
