Have watched Ute Basketball for at least 50 years. Went to Honolulu to watch them in the Tournament. I was very disappointed. Yes they loss Kuzma immediately in the first game but the play by the rest of the team was very uninspired. Moments of great play by Barefield but he better learn how to play defense and make a pass or two. What is with this team and turnovers??? Need a playmaker to run the offense. Bonham doesn’t look like the same player as he was last year. I am not sure he is clear on what his role is. Johnson looks like a brand new freshman not one that entered early last year to be ready for this yeay. A lot of growing needed for this bunch….and they looked lost without Kyle.
