If this is the company we keep then “future Big 10” may be in our future.

        [Fingers crossed]

Utah will be lucky stay in the big12

          Nebraska is irrelevant
          UClA will be irrelevant soon
          And so would Utah eventually

Looks like the day of an obscure mid major upsetting the P4 teams is a thing of thing past. Seems to be the way all of the big name teams and networks want it.

I dunno. If an obscure mid-major were playing Florida St. next week, I’m not sure who I would take.

Just win baby!…. Multiple teams ahead of Utah will play each other and sustain loses. Utah will move up naturally through the season.

After Michigan gets throttled this week, we will jump into the top ten!

Those teams ahead of us are really good. Being 11 is a huge compliment to our program. All those teams have better recruits, more money and more NIL than we do.

The blue bloods are all better than ever with more separation from the rest. Our coaching, culture and work ethic is awesome. Proud to be a Ute and to be mentioned with the top programs.

I agree Jim. Feels like that top 10, and especially top 7 are stronger than we have seen in recent years.

But we are only 1 game in.

        Time will tell.

I’m frankly SHOCKED that USC didn’t jump us after beating an overrated LSU team.

Also, how does Clemson drop 8 spots after losing to the #1 team?

By managing just a FG on a neutral field?

Georgia has hit a home run convincing people that Atlanta is really a neutral field for them.

I’ve heard a lot of pundits really over Lincoln Riley. Maybe they just assume he will choke and factor that in.

Incredible consistency by our coaches keeping Utah ranked close to the Top 10 each year. This type of exposure is huge for Utah’s brand.

And playing on national TV this Saturday in Fox’s 3:30 pm ET slot is another huge opportunity to showcase the Utah brand. I’m sure this will provide Whitt and the kids extra juice along with playing at RES to take Baylor to the wood shed…Go Utes!!

I hope we come out fired up and ready to send a message. I want like 45-14 or more. If we want to show that we belong, we need to keep our foot on the gas just like the other top teams do.

We struggle, like every other team, to contain mobile QB’s, but Baylor doesn’t have the other weapons that USC has and we should have at least some familiarity with the team having played last year. I just don’t think a mobile QB can beat our defense by himself.
