Participant2 bad turnovers in a row, still winning early
-

Participantwe are playing great defense.

The Miami Ute
ParticipantGetting outrebounded in a major way. UCF is getting multiple looks just about every time down the court.
-
The Miami Ute
ParticipantPlus making TOs on multiple trips down the court.

Participantyeah, stupid stupid unforced turnovers. Terrible pass to Lohner by Erickson one play, then the play or two before that Lohner turned it over all on his own. Then Ausar randomly slips and coughs it up to the other team.Just terrible.
Sharavjamts is SO GOOD at finding the open man. It is an absolute pitty that we only have 3 guys he can pass to with any sort of confidence on a regular basis.

Participantman… Lohner is terrible at basketball, and he’s much less of a shot blocker than I thought he would be. We are turning over the ball a ton on unforced errors and stupid passes
-

ParticipantSharavjamts keeps finding guys and they find ways to screw it up. We have several guys in the rotation that should not be playing. Also, several of these guys don’t know what to do when Lovering isn’t in the game.

ParticipantWhat does Smith see in Keller besides being a big body? He needs to throw it down instead of laying it up when going to the basket.
-

ParticipantOof, that kid is terrible. Should not play, ever.

ParticipantLovering needs to look to set up others when he gets the ball in the post

Participantcan’t believe they called traveling on Little there

ParticipantI don’t know why Ausar passes up so many open shots within his range. He has to be assertive if we are going to win any close games.
-
The Miami Ute
ParticipantRidiculous…10 turnovers in 16 minutes of the 1st half…and most of them were of the unforced variety. Why do the Utes look like they’ve never played with each other whenever they go on the road?
-
chinngiskhaan
Participantstupid substitutions is a big factor

Participantbulls**t goaltending call on a great block by mike

The Miami Ute
ParticipantAbsolutely…I can’t understand how something like that isn’t reviewed.

Rick Walker
ParticipantGet Keller off the floor
-
The Miami Ute
Participant16 turnovers with over 13 minutes left in the game!!! Disgraceful…
-
Rick Walker
ParticipantSo many bad calls, plus getting out-rebounded, and now we’re stale on offense, we seriously can’t travel as a team

The Miami Ute
ParticipantAnother stupid loss to a bad team on the road…another game that, with some decent play and taking care of the ball, would have been a win. How many times have we seen this play out? 19 turnovers in this game for Utah and only 8 for a bad UCF team…UCF got 20 points off those turnovers and that was the ball game. Now the Utes get to fly cross country to play a p**sed-off Arizona team that will take out all of its aggression on Utah. That game will probably get ugly by the middle of the 1st half. And then they got the balls to wonder why the Huntsman is half empty for every game not called “versus BYU.”

ParticipantThe Utes do not value each possession. It’s the same old story.

ParticipantUnforced TOs, that’s all there was to it.

ParticipantObviously the turnovers were the key. Right next to that was bench play. When your bench gets outscored 33-4 (wow!), it’s gonna be really hard to win a college game, especially on the road. We did a great job of containing their (by far) best player in Hall. Our bench played horribly. Shot 2-9 w/ 2 assists and 7 turnovers and poor defense. Another game where Keanu Dawes is a complete non-factor. Our starters played well and we should’ve won this game. Our bench laid an egg.

ParticipantIt certainly is appropriate that we lost on a turnover instead of a missed shot.
