Participant1st half 2-9 from 3, 1-6 from the foul line. 4 turnovers in the first 2 mins of the 2nd half.

ParticipantSame old story. Lots of passing, turnovers, and shot clock violations. It would be nice to have a player make the “ball go in the hoop”.

KeymasterHow about some coaching? We do the same thing over and over again. No changes. No adjustments.

Participantugh, it’s really frustrating to watch. Just pass the ball around the perimeter repeatedly until the shot clock runs out, then the guy that shouldn’t be shooting jacks up a contested shot. Same anemic offense for years and nothing has been done to change it. The only time it was ever any different was when we had two all americans on our team.

ParticipantIf Chris Hill were still AD, I wonder if he’d cut Larry loose this year? I know Hill is responsible for extending Larry, but Hill never seemed afraid to make a change. He did so with Majerus and McBride.
Harlan’s just still too new.
Anyway, I’m probably just talking out my ass after another disheartening loss.

Participant“One more year…”. I know we have been saying it for awhile. Honestly Larry has next season and that is it. If he can’t manage something next season Utah needs to hire a coach who will. I am fine with a mid season fire to if it isn’t working.

ParticipantOn opening night in front of a raccous Reno crowd, our youthful team kept their composure and beat a decent Nevada squad. Since then, other than a decent showing in a hard fought loss to USC, we’ve been downright bad in every other true road game.
We beat Oregon State in the Hunty and played Oregon really tough, but last night down nearly 20 at the half in Corvalis and hate to think what will happen in Eugene.
Trying to be patient. Still always a fan til I die.

ParticipantIf Harlan isn’t shopping for a replacement right now he is an idiot. My opinion only way Larry K keeps his job is an Elite 8 run. Which I just don’t see it. His teams are too easy to scout.
