ParticipantWe tried our hardest to let Washington catch up but the Huskies just weren’t good enough.

ParticipantFirst win in five years of P12 tournaments? Wow. Didn’t even realize it.

ParticipantAccording to Josh Furlong. Unless I am misreading his first paragraph:
SALT LAKE CITY — It took five years for it to happen, but the Utah men’s basketball team got its first win in the Pac-12 Tournament since the venue moved from the MGM Grand to T-Mobile Arena.

ParticipantNope, it’s accurate. That alone shows that the team is improving however. Nobody knows how good that Oregon State team could have potentially been last year because the rest of the conference tournament got cancelled. Utah lost to them on a last second shot. They were extremely competitive that game, and Oregon State was supposed to win because they were the higher seed. To be fair, the 2019 loss to Oregon is forgivable. That Oregon team won the Pac-12 Tournament and went on to make the Sweet 16. The 2018 loss to Oregon was less forgivable, as that Oregon team only made the NIT. However, Utah made up for that loss in the Tournament that year by making it to the NIT Championship Game.

ParticipantI just saw that they were up 19 points with 5 minutes left, and they won by 3? That’s almost impressive 😂.

KeymasterLarry is strong with the end of game management.

ParticipantSurvive and advance bro. Survive and advance. It doesn’t matter how they got it done. All that matters is that they got it done and didn’t lose like they did for the past four years. They could have been BYU and lost their 12-point half time lead against their opponent from Washington. But they didn’t. THEY WON THE GAME. THAT’S LITERALLY ALL THAT MATTERS.
