Vesterstein leads Utah into 1st place at Westminster Invitational

SNOWBIRD, Utah – Katie Vesterstein led the Utah ski team with a pair of second place finishes and helped Utah finish the day in first place in the RMISA Invitational hosted by Westminster in the slalom after two races at Snowbird.

The two second place finishes are the highest of her career. In the second slalom race of the day, she missed first place by .02 seconds.

The men are set to ski in the slalom today at Snowbird.
