      How many times since conference expansion have the teams in the championship game met for the first time and not played during the normal season? Affectively playing 10 of the 11  conference opponents. PAC 12 specifically

      This will be the third time the Pac-12 Championship was played between teams that did not meet during the regular season.  The previous two times were 2011 (Oregon vs. UCLA) and 2016 (Washington vs. Colorado).
