A sizeable portion of those games we had 2nd and 3rd string in on defense.

We’ve also played 3 crap offenses, so it has to be taken with a grain of salt.

      I like our chances Saturday.

I like our chances on Friday better.

BYU isn’t a total crap offense.

Well, UT and USC might disagree. But we can have differing opinions too.

Honestly, it’s a shame Utah D took a drive off and gave up a TD against TDS.

Tenn and SC defenses have to be lashing themselves for letting ZW scramble around and play 500 with his receivers. BYU certainly didn’t win those games because of its offense (though, from what I saw Saturday, they were able to do what they needed to do to keep the ball moving just enough against SC). Kalani’s defenses didn’t break and they were able to capitalize opponent mistakes. That’s a model for winning we should all be familiar with.

Now what will Utah D hold/give up to USC? I can’t even guess anymore. My last 3 trips to the Coliseum have been such bummers. I just hope Utah beats them down worse than they did last year (and minus the slow start).

And only 6 of those 29 points have come in the 2nd half

Scalley is the king of halftime adjustments.
