ParticipantJosh Nurse – JUCO out of Blinn College. 6’4” 195 lbs.
Add Carrington and our WR position looks much more promising!

ParticipantAny info on how good this guy is supposed to be? Other than the D-News article and a Rivals profile that has him unrated, I can’t find anything on him.

ParticipantDon’t know good he is, but he has 3 years to play 3. And he has offers from Boise and Iowa St. Played with Ballard at Blinn College and that’s who helped recruit him to Utah.

ParticipantI was just about to ask – isn’t that where Ballard went?
I can tell you already that I like his length and frame. Even if he’s slow at receiver, he can always put some weight on and move to TE.

ParticipantYes. Ballard was the one who told the coaches about him.
Per Nurse’s profile on hudle, his 40’s time is around 4.4. Apparently, he was a sprinter & high jumper in high school.

p.s. Deseret News seems to put more more Utes content, and more timely, as of late.

ParticipantIt sounds like he’s actually quite fast. 4.48 40 time.

Participant4.48 at 6’4″ is blazing speed. We get that Carrington and we immediately have one of the best WR position groups in the conference.

ParticipantI am excited to see Nurse play. He is big and is a burner. I didn’t realize he has 3 years remaining, that is great news!

ParticipantPhysical tools appear to be there, but let’s see if he actually has good hands and can run routes.

ParticipantAnd if not he’ll make an excellent CB.

ParticipantWe have a good track record of late additions. Either the coaching staff is good at finding the stragglers that got left behind, or they don’t take them unless they are sure they are good players.
I think Pita T joined the team in fall camp…I’m still baffled why he didn’t redshirt his freshman season.

Armand ShyneFeels like I’m leaving someone else out. But this kid looks like a legit talent. Hopefully it works out!
