Rewatching the game it was clearly evident that once we started throwing deep late in second quarter our offense was very efficient. Helped run game and loosened things up.
Our identity needs to be more balanced offensively and taking deep shots. We have the playmakers. Can’t be run heavy anymore. The Red River game showed that more good things come out of throwing deep on a regular basis. Catches, PIs, loosens up Defense , if it’s intercepted it’s like a punt, or no catch.
Cams deep ball is very catchable ……..have athletic Wrs that can go up and get it helps even more. Then pound them with our run game.
