Weather for Saturday looking unsettled

Snow showers possible in the morning, but daytime temperatures above freezing and only 20% chance of rain.  But for the evening, chance of precipitation – rain – increases to 50% around kickoff.  Kickoff at 5:30 pm, sunset at 6:19 pm. Temps low-to-mid 40s and steady, wind south at 10-12 mph, windchill around 40 F.

Remember when Rick Rod had his players practice under the sprinklers a few days before coming up and beating us in the rain? Lets hope Utah gets a couple of practices done using footballs that have been soaking in a bucket. Wet balls are underthrown.

With the combination of the weather and result of the game, easily among the least enjoyable games I’ve attended at Rice-Eccles.
