        I watched the live feed. Other than the three seeded teams, the choices did appear to be selected without control from the league office. Link

      Davies could have simply chosen the balls from a bowl rather than asking each seeded team rep to pick numbers, but I’m not sure that the league would have taken the time to orchestrate a scene like that just to get teams into the most advantageous groups.
