McBride of Frankenstein
ParticipantSorry to see him go. Is this a sign he was behind in the depth chart from where he wanted to be? third or even fourth? Behind
Bishop Hubert Vaughn?

ParticipantI have no info whatsoever… but I’m done worrying about transfers. It’s almost always a player that wasn’t working out for one reason or another. I highly doubt he transfers if he was going to be a difference maker this season.
this one seems different because he played quite a bit last year, but I don’t think it will hurt the team.

ParticipantWhen is Nate Richie back? 23? Maybe he sees the writing on the wall with Ritchie and Bishop in the house.

ParticipantDamn I’m excited for that duo

ParticipantYou forgot Clayton Isbel who is supposed to be a beast. As Yes Ritchie should be back for 23-24.

ParticipantIt means he won’t be on the roster anymore.

ParticipantDon’t forget about Sione Vaki…back from his mission and had a great Spring. He’s a physical force that’s assignment sound. Bishop and Ritchie play the same position so there will likely be some movement down into the box based on which one gains the weight IMO…Cole goes pro after 23 though.
Latu is a significant loss because he’s a really good player but Hubert clearly came out of camp as the 1 and Vaki/Isabel will fight for the 2. The only concern I have is RJ’s injury history but he deserves a break so I’m going to be optimistic about his chances this year. Also have 2 frosh arriving soon.

ParticipantTabaracci entered as well. Longshot to get LB minutes

ParticipantUgh. I just saw that on twitter. We are loaded in that room but Tabaracci had a chance to really contribute over the course of his career.

ParticipantProblem with Tabo is he’s behind 5 underclassman LB’s including 2 Freshman and a 3rd in Ethan Calvert if he comes back fully healthy which I think he will. Then you look at who we’re involved with at TE in this cycle and it’s gonna be tough for Tabo to carve out time without injuries ahead of him. They played around with him at H-back because he’s a great athlete but I don’t think he would have seen much early time here.

ParticipantWhat was Calverts injury? Seems like it’s all hush hush.

ParticipantCoach Swan talked about the fact that if he could Ethan “would take the brace off his knee right now and go.” Medical staff holding him back but he should be full go by Fall.

ParticipantHow many of these end up at BYU and how much of this is being stacked vs outside tampering
