In 2025 (at least the most vocal of posters).
1. 0-12
2. Whittingham to INSIST we run 80% of the time (the run run pass punt offense under a new OC).
3. We will have an 8th year starting QB running around with crutches on the field, backed up by 2 walk on’s who are fully capable of handing the ball off to the running backs.
4. No running backs in the room. They all suck.
It’s over! The once proud Utah Football program is now the doormat of the Big XII, about to be demoted to NAIA.
Scalley will leave because he won’t want to wait for Whittingham, the washed up, old, out of tune with reality, unable to adjust his style, coach will be coaching for 5 more years.
It’s over!
The sky is falling.
No talent on this team.
No money to recruit from the portal.
Sad, sad! -

Reductive points make you feel better?

The real joke will be when we run over 60% of the time, Rising is back.
And I’ll say this a thousand times, but I’ll be more blunt this time:
Scalley is Utah’s bitch. He ain’t going anywhere, no matter what Whitt does to him. Because he knows if he leaves, there is a great chance he doesn’t come back.
As for the RB’s…we do need some. If you know someone, hit Whitt up. And going along with this, all our RB’s have been over 200 lb’s…at least all our great ones. Why the f**k are we recruiting kids that are 170lbs? What the f**k is going on in that room? How the hell does Ganther still have a job?

Literally nobody has vocally said we are going 0-12. Just lots of uncertainty after this season

Honestly, with a change in OC and overall what type of offense we run, I actually have some hope that the defense won’t get hung out to dry for multiple games in 2025. Who knows what players are going to be running the offense at this point, but I at least feel good about making changes and doing something different. Maybe a 5 – 7 season has opened the eyes of Whitt and he will be willing to give the offensive more leeway in 2025?

UtesRule… are you a troll? I can’t think why anyone would make a post like this except to try to pin everyone against each other.

Nope, not a troll. Just blown away by the unbelievable pessimism and “the sky is falling” feeling from so many on this board.
Utah still has a fantastic coaching staff, a lot of talent and a great program.
Utah was about 7-10 points per game from going 10-2 this year.
Utah will be fine next year.

If you set low expectations it his hard to get dissapointed!

Utah was No. 109 in scoring at 21.3 points per game. UNM was No. 21 at 33.7. The No. 67 team scored 26.6. I hope Utah can score 27 points per game.
