Although just to remind Oregon who is the “one ship fleet” of the PAC 12.
This past Saturday, the University of Utah football team paid tribute to USS Salt Lake City with special uniforms featuring the heavy cruiser on the helmet. Each player on the field wore a star to represent the ship's 11 battle stars. Utah defeated Oregon 38-7. #WarshipWednesdaypic.twitter.com/4XJO6cOF2a
Correct you are CB_Ute! I don’t care if the helmets are hand painted or not, but that Red-on-Gray (or Silver), with Gray/Silver helmet is such a sharp look, that it HAS to be worn for at least ONE game every year. And it can’t be worn in the Rose Bowl. For the Rose we need to stick with our traditional brand. But for the CCG? Yes please!
