Something is definitely off with him. Same with the Arizona game. He hasn’t really looked like himself since he came back from the injury. A lot of balls overthrown, a few underthrown, a few behind the receiver, questionable decisions. Also, I didn’t see a single designed QB run last night, which tells me the coaches are trying to protect him more.
He is still definitely the QB, but he will have to go back to pre-injury Cam if we’re going to have a chance at Oregon.
I suspect he’s still dealing with the injury and they’re just being coy about it with the media. Anyone know for sure? OnlyU?

He for sure has been off .. but he has made up the difference when needed .. I’d put my guess on still not 100 percent and the weather .. weather has been brutal the last two games

Is this a joke? He’s playing injured for hell’s sake. That is “what’s wrong with him.” Also, his 1 a/b targets are both injured… the running game has been ass until last night when they asked Cam, who has an injured leg, to run bootleg after bootleg from under center in a successful effort to kickstart Tavion.
yes, he missed on a few and made one really bad decision that should have been a pick (the actual pick was 100% PI).

I’ll give him some benefit of the doubt in the last two games because the cold condtitions have sucked for a QB but look no further than the highlight reel of his completions at halftime last night to see a pile of wobbly struggling balls.

I think the injury has definitely affected him but pre-injury Cam still did all this stuff. Tavion being down and out and Cam making a massive mistake were the single biggest factors in our loss to Florida. Cam definitely rises (heh) to the occasion but outside of USC he hasn’t put in a stellar year.

I’ll take Cam Rising’s injury situation right now over Bo Nix’s. https://www.google.com/amp/s/247sports.com/college/oregon/Article/Bo-Nix-Oregon-Ducks-Ducks-Football-Dan-Lanning-197522724/Amp/
Keep in mind that Nix was knocked out for the season almost exactly a year ago with a broken ankle against Mississippi State.

What is Nix’s situation?
-
RoboUteParticipant
I don’t think it’s really been publicized

Knee injury from last night. He came back in though so unsure on his status
-
The Miami UteParticipant
It was an ankle injury. Nix also suffered a season ending broken ankle last November against Mississippi State.

That washington player looked really really happy to find out that he had injured someone. I assumed that team’s cancerous bully mentality would’ve left with the coaching change but apparently it’s coming form elsewhere.

W16UteParticipant
I agree. I didn’t know that Cam had injured himself against USC, he finished that game in fine fashion even with injury. Nix likely finished based on adrenaline alone. Next week might be different.
-
The Miami UteParticipant
Exactly. It’ll be interesting to see how Oregon’s QB situation shapes up during this week. From an outsider’s perspective, it doesn’t look good, primarily because Nix injured that same ankle last year and required surgery.

I just checked…the ankle that Nix injured last night was the same one that he had surgery on almost exactly a year ago.
Surgery was a success! I am thankful for all the doctors and nurses who made today go so smooth as well as all those who prayed for me and supported me. Super excited to start the recovery process so I can be back on the field! God is good! pic.twitter.com/Kb0ulzL9IW
