When Utah beats Washington this weekend…

How far will Washington drop in the rankings and how little will Utah rise (if at all) in the rankings?

Because half the voters are brain dead & because it’s the PAC-12 Washington will fall out of the top ten. Rankings would be something like

11 Washingtom

12 Utah

because that totally makes sense

Washington would drop to about 9 and we would climb to 12 or so.

They will just flip flop them. But Washington has beat Rutgers that always good for a top ten at least. 

Ohio st losing to unranked Pedo st isn’t that bad. Losing to a ranked Utah team when you are favored is just bad in the west states.

If we beat Washington I think we’ll get into the top 10.  There are two matchups this weekend where all 4 teams are ranked ahead of us.  Assuming the lower ranked teams lose, so #11 Wisconsin (#7 Nebraska) and #12 Florida State (#3 Clemson) and we beat Washington I imagine we’d move up to 10 and Washington would drop to 11.

The only other team ranked ahead of us that is on an upset alert, IMO, is West Virginia (Oklahoma State).  Auburn and Florida both have tough matchups but I think they’ll both win their respective games.

It’s fun to speculate but the Utes gotta win first.

I don’t gamble or have money but I would drop some money on Wisconsin to roll Nebraska.

Wisconsin is pretty beat up, but Nebraska hasn’t played anyone. Whoever wins that game will probably win the Big Ten West.
