After reading the article on Bogut, I’d say we’ve been pretty lucky to have some pretty grounded athletes repping the U in the Pros.

      Grounded

      Eric Weddle

      Andrew Bogut

Alex Smith (still remember the story about him not cashing a check his rookie year)

      Andre Miller

      SS Sr.

What others do you think of?

How about Utah athletes who’ve gotten kind of caught up in it?

Sadly the first name which comes to my mind is…

The Dirty Bird – Jamal Anderson

Generally speaking Utah athletes seem pretty grounded and you don’t hear too much about them in the news.

Jamal Anderson is Ute Legend.  ‘Who doesn’t love the dirty bird, come on’

And to clarify, I don’t disagree with your post but, ya know, the dirty bird.  Most splashy, classy, flashy, and grounded probably not the bird, but well, the dirty bird gonna do the dirty bird thang.  Love Jamal Anderson!

Jordan Gross was one of the most humble people I’ve ever met.

Good one. Zane Beadles did some good charity work here in Denver, and I believe also reps the U well.

Zane does a lot with the McDonald’s House here and runs numerous fund raisers.  Very smart and grounded young man.
