In double checking the account, it appears the post legitimately came from Brandon Roses mom. However, it also appears she took the post down and this post is now there:
“No one knew the extent of Brandon’s injury until Monday afternoon! Brandon had pain during game and decided to play through it. The training staff has been nothing but supportive and we appreciate it.”
Essentially, Rose’s mom is saying don’t blame the coaches / team. Which if I was Rose, is what I would want her to say too.
But as a fan, I don’t think that lets the team coaches and medical staff off the hook. Rose had a season ending injury and not only did they not recognize it as such, they insisted on playing an injured player that had become ineffective (which cost us the game).
