      Desperation not calculated risks.

I know it seems silly to say how Utah went overly conservative but attempted two foolish fourth down conversions in that game. The attempts are desperate and not calculated. Utah runs pretty much the same damn play on these fourth down attempts. Run up the gut or a qb read run. TWill isn’t very good at the read at all. He has a terrible tell and it is obvious when he will run it. Watch Ohio st to see how you sell it. Barrett fakes me out every damn on his read. So if I know the play call defenses in the PAC12 know the play call hence the reduced conversion rate. TRY SOMETHING ELSE OR TAKE THE POINTS!!

Barrett didn’t fumble twice in the first half either. And tOSU isn’t on their fourth string C and so low on depth they are starting a RB who hasn’t played in a month.

Utah was so confident in that RB they rushed him 34 times.

The TWII fumble of the snap on 4th down at like the 4 was all on him. HE took his eyes off the ball. It needs to be reinforced that you cannot score without the ball. Play before that, TWII needs to make a more aggressive move to get the 1st down. Dive with ball reached out would have got it. I also think he failed to use his blocker properly. Just instinctual execution errors.

I think KW needs to put down the “my OL is invincible” crack pipe. Everyone has seen our film and they know what we’re going to do. At some point you need to mix it up and do something different. A couple fly sweeps, fade pass to the corner, quick slant over the middle when they got 8 or 9 in the box. Just something different plus some execution.
