ParticipantThat his ego is too big to admit it was an awful mistake that cost his guys a chance at winning.

ParticipantMakes sense. You call timeout. A couple of incompletions later, you get the ball back with one timeout, you go down and kick a FG to win it.
Our coach is an aggressive son of a bitch. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
This year is rough, because we’ve lost more often than won.
BUT, this defense will not stay down, especially with Gary Andersen joining the staff this winter. AND, now we have a f**king offense, with a f**king baller as a QB.
Get excited Ute fans.

KeymasterINCOMPLETIONS? They were running the clock out with 22 seconds left! They weren’t even going to run another play most likely.

ParticipantNot with 22 seconds and only two timeouts, and your best cover corner going out of the game on the series before…

ParticipantJJ have a broken collar bone?

KeymasterLooked like that or a dislocated shoulder.

noneyadb
ParticipantHe has a shoulder brace on during game, he was fairly tentative during the game to tackle guys

ParticipantTime to be aggressive was on 4th and 1. Punting meant playing for ot. Timeout meant giving uw a chance to win. Blown away by his stupidity. Of course the media won’t push him. He shouldn’t cash his check this month.

ParticipantComplete nonsense. “thinking we were going to get the ball back”. 30 seconds left.. If you forced them to punt you’d have about 10 seconds to go 60 yards for a FG. He deluded himself into thinking the defense could make a turnover and it blew up in his face

ParticipantThe only thing worse than the TO call was that explanation.

ParticipantOk, this explanation from the presser makes more sense than the immediate postgame interview. Bad decision obviously, but can’t fault him for the intention to be aggressive. It was a good game plan overall. Gut punch for sure.

KeymasterExcept the fact that we didn’t have enough timeouts to force them to punt.

ParticipantMy thought: Kyle is good at managing our football program, but lousy at managing our football games.

ParticipantMost Ute fans are in denial. Whitt is about as bad at in-game management as my pro team coach Jason F’n Garrett. They both suck at it
