This was from yesterday but ESPN700 did not play it until today because of the holiday.

Expects to see a better Baylor team this weekend. They have good coaches. Their offense looked good but had bad red-zone production.

We had a good win last week. The defense was the difference. We only had 4 missed tackles compared to 29 last year.

We need a good week of preparation. They will practice the guys early this week to get them ready for Saturday.

The backup QB is an athletic kid and looked good in his playing time.

We will focus on stopping the run!

We did not run the ball as effectively as we should. It was not as bad as the stats, but it was the most disappointing thing about last Thursday.

      Cam doing everything in practice.

Would like Cam to play but making Baylor prepare for two different kinds of QBs helps us.

He doesn’t care about the conference Baylor is in.

There is a 4 step process to get past the concussion protocol. Reid could possibly play this week.

He hopes to get at least one or two of the guys back playing this week.

Having played against Grimes helps in preparation.

Why did he move Tao to CB? He was recruited to be a receiver. He was there and doing well, but determined that he would be better at CB and played well last week.

Mikey Matthews played well and should be a very good player for the Utes. Simmons will be in the mix at WR. When Cam returns the WRs will play a more prominent role.

Fano did an excellent job at left tackle. He graded out very well. He is very pleased.

Riley said if Cam is sharp enough to play – he will play on Saturday.
