      During the USC game the site was pretty hammered with posts.  At the time there were 10 topics per page.  Each topic had up to 30+ replies.  It was slowing everything down, and making people’s browsers perform poorly.  So to speed up the site and try to reduce the chances of things slowing down during heavy traffic times, I reduce it to 8 topics per page.
