ParticipantOregon looks like the most complete team, but even Boise St gave them fits. OSU has amazing talent, but I’m unsure Day can bounce back after the Michigan loss. Texas, Penn St, and Georgia are strong but not unbeatable. I don’t have faith in Tennessee or ND. Indiana and Boise State could make some noise, but I don’t see them going all the way. Clemson and SMU look the weakest.
So my hatred for them aside, my dark horse pick is ASU. They’ve caught fire at the right time, and Dillingham has big balls. If a few things break their way, I wouldn’t be shocked if they win it all.🤢🤮

ParticipantHard to see ASU as a potential NC pick. I believe that team has plenty of holes which, given the amount of time between the end of the regular season and their actual game, opponents with superior personnel can exploit. If, for example, the Sun Devils draw Texas as their next opponent, I can easily see a blowout going Texas’ way. I personally like SMU or Clemson as dark horse picks.

ParticipantOregon is the obvious pick, but I agree with you on a darkhorse pick. However, I heard that ASU lost a bunch of kids to the portal.

ParticipantDillingham has said it doesn’t matter and they’re still welcome to finish out the season with the team if they so choose.

ParticipantA real darkhorse?
Well that eliminates ASU, Boise St, Indiana, SMU.
They don’t have the depth to win 3+ games in a row vs blue bloods.
The real darkhorse?
Penn St. They have the easiest path. SMU then Boise? Give me a break. Then they get Georgia after ND gives them a tough game?
But the winner will be Georgia, Texas or Oregon/Ohio State.
And Ohio State got screwed. Tennessee then Oregon then Texas then Georgia?
F**k me. That’s impossible.

ParticipantASU will not win it. Let’s be honest, they’re just not up there with the big boys talent-wise. I think my Dark Horse is probably Tennessee or Notre Dame. They have the actual blue chip talent to do it.

ParticipantLike to see someone like SMU, Indiana, or ASU win the whole thing (still can’t pull for Boise in any situation). But fear we’ll likely see Georgia against Oregon or Texas in the final.
Sort of like March Madness. I hope to see a small humble mid-major win the title but we inevitably see teams like Duke, Carolina, Ashley Judd U, Kansas, etc. make it to the title game.

ParticipantIf you eliminate the top 4 favorites Oregon Texas Ohio State Georgia that leaves 8 possible dark horse. I’ll go Penn State because of their schedule.
