How about the job he’s done so far?

Took over a bad Houston team that was expected to be a full rebuild. Very possible he gets the team picked to finish dead last in conference to a bowl his first year. Yet another example of a proven coach who steps up a level and gets s**t done

Houston wasn’t that bad. Dana Holgorsen didn’t run them into the ground.

Vegas set their win total at 3.5, they were only returning 2 starters on defense, and needed to replace 4 of 5 starters on the OLine. That doesn’t mean Holgorsen ran them into the ground but they also weren’t a team primed for the next coach to get them back to respectable right away.

Houston has a good defense. They almost beat Oklahoma on the road early in the year. All the supposed G5 big 12 additions are doing fairly well in P4 football. This conference is very even from top to bottom. Even the bottom teams like Ok St and Kansas are not bad. They have just lost a bunch of close games. Arizona may be the worst team in the league as they are consistently being blown out every week.

How did Utah lose to Arizona?

Dude had a neck roll and Mohawk when he played. Did we expect he wouldn’t figure it out?

Blew my mind when they interviewed Houston’s HC versus us:

“Utah only runs 3-4 plays. We know what’s coming. They don’t switch anything up. We just need to stop them.”
