I’m beginning to think the coaching staff made a huge mistake putting Wilson ahead of Rose, and even Huard. Wilson is a true Freshman, with no experience at the College level. He hasn’t shown that he has great accuracy or even a strong arm. Also, he is not a very fast runner like Cam. Hope he proves me wrong.

Do we not remember that Rose absolutely sucks? He couldn’t get any playing time last year. Bottari played before him. He’s been in the program so long and can’t get on the field. Apparently it was pretty clear that Wilson was the number 2 throughout camp. We just aren’t a golf football team this year 🤷🏽‍♂️

Honestly Rose might be an absolute baller. He could totally be that guy who isn’t the best with X’s and O’s but he just feels that game really well but he’s stuck on the bench. Obviously that’s unlikely and more likely he’s just a bad QB too but man I’d like to see him play so then I at least know.

My future employment doesn’t rely on the relative performance of 18-22 year old kids so take this with a grain of salt. How many times has the Utah defense knocked a QB out of the game only to watch an untested, untried backup come in and look like Peyton Manning reincarnated?

Coaches aren’t always right on who should be playing. But the bigger indictment is that it is the coaches who put the team together. So not only are they not getting the best out of their starters, but apparently they don’t have anyone behind them that can do the job either.

I literally don’t believe a thing Whitt says about the QBs. You can literally see the regression from Wilson. This is a coaching disaster. I am not blaming the players at all.

Whitt likes toughness over actual intelligence. Shuts down all calls and forces qb into a mold. You have one call all night to take the top off. Utah executed it perfectly and it was timely resulting in a score.

This is more of an indication of Whitt.

Some players take risks on practice and are GAMERS…. Some are practice all-Americans and are average when in actual games.

Whitt has favorites and will always give them long leashes.

If Rose truly doesn’t know the offense, that’s bad coaching, if he is worse than what we have seen from Cam and Wilson the last few games, that’s on coaches absolute FAILURE in scouting.

He has been described as having the best arm On the team on multiple occasions, he has never been given a shot and that’s on the coaches.

100% Aloha. But Rose and Huard could also be inferior. Both can be true.

I think the biggest thing this season is you have serious regression in the Oline rush blocking combined with a RB room that has drama. Not blaming Bernard at all because the guy puts it all on the field every game. I wouldn’t be sad at all if Utah recruits nothing but RB’s and gets 1-2 transfers that fit the offense Utah wants to run in 2025.

Give him a game plan that he wants to run. What is he comfortable with, what does he like? And counter a blitz for crying out loud.

This BS rhetoric that Lud designs scheme and calls plays to fit players is an outright lie.

Ludwig and Whitt need to go. They’ve overstayed and will be given grace to leave on their terms. But they have been exposed the past two seasons. I’m starting to think that without a good QB, they’re just a bad OC and good DC.

The thing is, the boos were 100% directed at Isaac. At one point the MUSS started chanting “fire Isaac”. if that’s not a tell tale sign that your fans are unhappy with you then I don’t know what is.
