      SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah women’s Soccer team picked up its first win of the season with a 3-0 shutout of Colorado State. The Utes had three different players score as the team picked up its first shutout of the season. 

      Next Up
      Utah returns to action on Thursday, Aug. 25, when they host the University of Denver at Ute Field in a non-conference match. The Utes and Pioneers will kick off at 7 p.m. MT.

      The game wasn’t as close as the score suggests. CSU was completely outclassed. Whether that is because they are bad or Utah is good (probably some of both) will be seen as the season progresses.
