I am feeling a lot better about the RB room. With Mitchell and Parker and the other additions this year!

I heard that we also got a RB from UNM (not the starter).

I ain’t running a victory lap or drinking the kool aid , learned that the last two years + . We’ve lost a lot of talent through graduation and transfers . Does the talent coming in succeed that going out? Great we’re killing it in G5 transfers.

7 of the 11 commits are P4 guys so far – Oregon, USC, A&M, Miss St, Nebraska, , Wash St and Louisville (pre JUCO) and a top 15 portal ranking at the moment with Nate Johnson from Vandy a likely add in the WR room. 8 out of 12 P4 kids wouldn’t be bad at all.

At the very least it’s been an extremely positive portal szn for our Utes. We’ll see it on the field soon enough but you have to feel a lot better about where the roster stands today vs a few weeks ago with some excitement and buzz around the program again. Add in a healthy Johnson at CB next season and you’ve got plenty of pieces to work with 🙏.

Definitely optimism. I hope NJ can see the field. If he would have accepted his fate 2 years ago he’d be 2 years ahead in development as a WR.

If we can get Singer back again, and if Lyons pans out (and sticks around), we should have some weapons next year (if we can manage to use them).

I think it depends on if Johnson can come back healthy from the knee and if Cotton or Saunders can help immediately.

Cotton is pretty highly rated but obviously hasn’t played at a major college level. All kinds of NFL corners from small schools so interested to see if he belongs. Compare him to Saunders from a big time program but not rated as high. Excited to watch that play out.

I hate to break it to you buddy, but this is the new normal in CFB. Each year is going to be a crap shoot with a flood of people leaving and a flood of people coming in.

The teams that will find success will be those that are able to find the best real talent and get the teams to mold in time.

No it’s a good pick up for sure , but as long as whit is running the show the offense is inept.

Probably in response to WP signing. I dont see how Mitchell will get much interest with his performance last year.
