Correct. I wasn’t trying to imply that the U should hire him. I don’t know that he’d be the best fit here.
But I am happy to see him having success, especially at these schools are have historically struggled in football. I think he’s doing a tremendous job.

I may be in a minority of Ute fans, but I’ve always liked Bronco and after he left TDS I was happy to see him have success at Virginia. And I’m also very happy to see him having success now at New Mexico. New Mexico has got to be one of the harder places in the country to land good recruits. It’s impressive to see what Bronco is doing down…[Read more]

Hahha. Tony I just came in to say the exact same thing.
On that pic he just threw they called him Isaac before… that was a bad omen. They need to stick with Ike.
He should have just thrown that one away.

Exactly, NarfUte. Should be 8 and 8 or 9 and 9 in my opinion.

Seems like a no-brainer with his size

Ha! Case in point. Just hit Singer with that beautiful TD pass. Singer’s first TD of the season I believe. Happy for Singer. He’s played well all season.

Why does Wilson struggle so much on the little screen passes? Is it mental? Or is he doing something wrong with his technique? I’m not a QB expert and just curious as to what people think. He seems more likely to complete a longer pass down the field than an easy 5 – 10 year dump screen pass.

Huntley/Zach Moss team has a really good offense in 2019. Put up 52 against Oregon State, 49 at UCLA, 45 against Colorado, etc. And scored in the 30s in most of their other games.
There was a stretch that season that was, in my opinion, the best Utah Football has ever looked. Regularly Beating up on the PAC 12 teams by 30 – 40 points.

Because Ryan Smith has really deep pockets. Utah needs to step up in NIL or Ryan Smith, I mean BYU, will get all of the good local recruits.

UteFan Vineyard replied to the topic Monday afternoon QBing here. 59 seconds calling TOs vs 49 seconds no TOs in the forum Football 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I agree. With how much time there was on the clock using timeouts was of absolutely no benefit.
On the flip side, BYU was already well within FG range. They weren’t going to pass so it’s not like we could get a sack or a pick. Not much the defense can do at that point. But maybe higher likelihood of them messing up if they had to rush…[Read more]

UteFan Vineyard replied to the topic Sorry for the idiotic BYU fans in the forum Football 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Yep, I’d prefer that we never play TDS again for the rest of my life. When we win, it’s just like a big exhale of relief, not really any joy. It’s what is expected. Not much upside to ever beat them. If we lose, it puts me in a really bad mood, especially having to deal with all of the TDS fans since I live in Utah County.

UteFan Vineyard replied to the topic 1st half Rose v 2nd half Rose in the forum Football 4 months, 2 weeks ago
A few things may have contributed:
#1- Kuithe going down in the second half. We scored 21 points with Kuithe in the game, and zero points when after he got injured
#2 – Coaches calling plays to “not lose” rather than to “win”.
#3 – On the rushing yardage, maybe TSPP didn’t realize the threat he was in the first half, and they may have made…[Read more]

Kuithe has been an amazing Ute. He’s made so many big plays for us over the years. I’m so bummed for him.
For this game specifically, BYU had no answer for him. We scored 21 points when he was healthy and zero points after he got injured.

He is fun to watch, on both ends of the floor. Has several steals, no look passes, 3 pointers, etc. Reminds me of some of those European players who are very skilled and smooth with n their play.
