Here is why we are ranked above Oklahoma and why we will continue to be if we beat Oregon. OK was rollin’ strong until the K-St loss. Struggled with TCU and ISU while we continued to pummel the hell out of people.

You nailed it UtahFanSir. I think our program is pretty much going to be Wisconsin/Michigan St. type for all the reasons you mentioned. Wisc. & Mich.St have had some years identical to what we are experiencing and neither has found themselves rich in 4 stars as a result. I don’t think we will either.

The problem as I see it is trying to sync up our coached up recruits to the point we have no holes in the roster. I get Pace’s point, 4 star talent is practically ready to contribute the moment the join the program, Like JJ. Let take Blackmon and Burgess for example, I remember them quite well as frosh. Do you not remember the hell we went through building our roster to compete in a P5 conference? There is a HUGE discrepancy between P5 and G5 talent/rosters. (or BCS non BCS)
I’m one of the most red goggled Ute fans on the planet.
