My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with a girl who saw Cam pass-out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it’s pretty serious.

I set up a smaller TV next to my bigger one so I can watch 2 games same time. It’s been great. YouTubeTV has an option for 4 at a time, but 1) I don’t have it, 2) It makes them all 1/4 of a screen so kind of small – need Lebron’s setup (9 TVs with 1 main game on 4 and other games on the other 5).

DataUte replied to the topic Why I want Oregon to crush Colorado in the forum Football 1 year, 1 month ago
You get 1 free transfer without sitting? But since they went FCS –> FBS, maybe they still have one more. But I Shilo went SC to JS to CU as a grad transfer, so he’s probably looking to NFL if possible. Other than NIL, Shedeur probably goes NFL. So, really, it’s just the daughter. I guess we’ll see 😉

Kids will go where they go, but let’s just take Jericho Johnson, a 4* DL. 247 says he’s warm between UW, UO, USC, and us. How hard is it to talk about playing at any of the other 3 and having to fly 4-5 hours to some games in a time zone 2-3 ahead of pacific? Maybe the B1G is appealing vs Big 12, but the realities might be different. He’s a CA…[Read more]

BR is an interesting one. I had no clue what recovery from a lacerated liver might be, but I’m sure he has to work himself back into shape but also probably doesn’t get as many reps as QB1 (whether that’s NJ or CR or a mix) as they get ready for conference play. Unfortunate and freak injury so he probably is now buried on the depth chart when he…[Read more]

Even if Cam didn’t come back, I think the coaches would have gone with Rose or Johnson. I don’t think they would have necessarily tried to get a starter from the portal. Bentley and Brewer anyone? I think it spooked the process of getting a mercenary qb into the system we do. Maybe they look, but we are still old school and had 2 4* qbs to develop…[Read more]

DataUte replied to the topic Taking stock of our injury issues in the forum Football 1 year, 2 months ago
Good summary. One nit – I don’t like how everyone says QB2 is out. Yes, Rose was emerging as the potential 2, but it was still a toss-up when he got injured. Even if he had emerged, he would’ve been just as raw and mistake-prone as Nate. But I digress, just my opinion :).
All these injuries remind me of early PAC12 years in November. But that was…[Read more]

Colorado is playing a game that’s enjoyable to watch and they have the capability of beating any team in the conference.
I know many here hate the attention and sideshow of their Coach, but their team is better than I ever expected them to be.

IIRC, every year has had a new hand-painted design since they started, except the COVID season:
2016: Blackout D&F
2017: “Throw up your U”
2018: Red-tailed hawk wings
2019: 1960s Throwbacks
2020: COVID
2021: USS SLC
2022: Ty and Aaron -

Copied from another thread:
On offense, their passing game is not spectacular but their running back, Bankston, could cause some issues if the Utes don’t play disciplined.
They will provide a good test of Utah’s kickoff coverage – Williams is a great kick returner and was a consensus all-american last year – returned four kickoffs for touch…[Read more]

Know anything? Yes. Know a lot? No. I watch them when I can but it’s hard to get much of a read on them through two games (with the first opponent being D-II).
They look to once-again be one of the better FCS teams and are currently ranked in the top ten. Their defense is solid but should (hopefully) be over-matched against Utah’s offense.
On…[Read more]

Our luck is Glover goes down at the 1, we have a false start, unsportsmanlike conduct, then holding, then miss the FG. JK

It is a rivalry, just not a competitive one haha. Last week definitely was more of what CU considers a rivalry game (Nebraska). CU-CSU is more like Utah-Utah St. Years of CU being Big 12 vs. CSU WAC/MWC does this to the competitiveness as well. They have played a lot in Denver but just recently started playing at the schools again (CSU has a new…[Read more]

Whitt said if you are up by 1, you kneel. If you are tied, you score. I think it still was a heads up, well taught play to even think about the choice – punch it in, burn time, or even kneel to bleed the clock to 3 seconds and kick the FG. That shows the savvy and coaching.
I also give credit to the Baylor player, knowing if he keeps him out,…[Read more]
