The mention of the Uintas and immediate shift to a peak in the La Sals was absolutely something Walton would have done. His style wasn’t for everyone but it was certainly distinct.

recruiting high school now is just getting your name on the list for when they transfer.

I had several professors that wrote the pre-eminent textbook in their field and they all confirmed they got pittance (like $1-2/book). Not bad if there is volume, but the publisher gets most of the money in the racket. For a $150-$200 book. But that was 20 years ago and not sure how the digital age works with all of that. I have not heard anything about Chase Kennedy this Spring. Was hoping to hear good things about his progression. Is he hurt?

Not a big fan of the name Yeti. That has as much tie to Utah as “Jazz”

Nothing really great here. Generic ideas but I like Rattlers, Bison, Raptors, Storm, Eagles, Wolves, Falcons, and Bombers better than Yeti.

The Golden Eagles is by far the best possible name for a Salt Lake NHL team.

Current urban has lost his OCD edge. The same reason he was good (at Utah, Florida, Ohio St.) was also what made him have health issues – he wants to control everything (which turns out good for team success). I think with some mellowing, and all this NIL mess, he wants no part in coaching – makes plenty from FOX with less stress.
