I almost want to fire Smith more for the missed free throws than for losses. Do they just nir practice them? There is zero excuse for a Big-12 caliber player to be worse than an 80% free throw shooter.

That was a great game. Fun to watch.

Both teams have reputations for not being able to win big games. Notre Dame pulling it off was huge for that program.

First, the offense can’t be worse. So we got an upgrade for sure. Is it enough though? TBD.

So? Every school should do it. Bowl games are essentially exhibitions. There’s real monetary risk to many of these athletes. That’s the whole point of insurance.

While Cam Ward did that, I give you Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter from Colorado who are both first round picks and played the whole game despite the current climate.
