I’m super stoked for him and his family. First person I’ve known personally to be in the NFL. Hope he has a long successful NFL career.

What are our strongest events?

He probably wants a place where he has a chance to start and it seems pretty clear that this is Wilson’s team in the future. So if the Utes could get him, then great. That’s more depth. But if I were him, I’d look elsewhere.

Would love us to grab the OSU transfer. I doubt we land him, but I’d love it.

So I don’t live in Utah, but if they got a team I’d definitely adopt them as my NHL team. But I’m more stoked for MLB I’m Utah, that’d be awesome. If SLC gets an MLB team, I’d definitely drive down from Boise once or twice a season to catch weekend games.

It’s still more than MBB has accomplished recently. Sure, it’s not the NCAA tourney, but still… we haven’t even made the NIT recently.

For our program and where it’s been the last 20 years, it’s definitely a positive. For all the frustration with the program and not making the tourney, each year under Smith the program has improved and this season is no exception. It demonstrates continued growth – even if we aren’t patient enough.

There are a few fans here who do. I understand occasional criticism for a decision here or there or even their bowl performance, but there are legit people who think we should move on from Whitt and that Utah can find someone better.

I just don’t understand how they can be so terribly bad on the road. I get not being as good, but this big of a difference is horrendous.

Problem for them is geography. Those markets are all condensed and largely covered by Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee, etc.

Michigan State is in danger purely because they’ll already have Michigan.

Nah, they’ll keep Maryland and Rutgers because of their markets. Same reason they’d probably include Virginia, NC, ASU, and Colorado.

But Illinois, Purdue and or Indiana, Michigan State, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vandy, Northwestern (because ND provides Chicago), Kentucky, and maybe a couple more need to be really nervous.

I can’t imagine that a super league would include both Mississippi and Miss State, OU and Ok State, IU and Purdue. I think it would just be one of each. Also, it wouldn’t include Northwestern and Vandy.
