How is that cheating?

I think this is great. The tweak I would make to this is that for the P4 conferences, it is 3 or 2 autobids respectively so long as the teams are ranked in the top 16. Like one year #24 Virginia made it in while #13 Bama didn’t. Bama should be in in that case.

Top G6 should always be in no matter where ranked.

To be fair though, College Football Head Coach has to be one of the worst jobs in America right now – it’s only saving grace is the money. I bet every one of the 133 FBS head coaches would rather be an NFL head coach. NFL head coach is immensely less work and stress and less complicated. Unfortunately there are only 32 jobs available.

Actually, they are too. This is the first season they’ve sniffed the tourney in a long time. Is it incredible improvement? No. But it is better than last season, and last season was better than the season before.

Every time I hear “Death, Taxes, and Utah Football” I’m reminded of how awesome Whittingham is and we are dang lucky we have him.

That is a great start and anyone who knows baseball knows that a 7 game win streak is hard to do. There are just so many variables and it’s not like the U is playing high school teams. Seems like all the sports programs are continuing to improve.

Not sure I see then keeping out Colorado, if only because of their market.

They could go 12-0 and you would complain that the Pac-12 isn’t good enough, so it’s really not that great of an accomplishment. Therefore we should move on from Whit because he wouldn’t be able to do the same thing in the SEC.

Why does Utah playing in high profile games skew the numbers any more than the teams around then? Why should we account for those if we aren’t for others?

I don’t understand the Ute fan angst towards Boise State. If anything,I’d think we’d stand in solidarity with them as we’ve been in their shoes. But for some reason, that I don’t understand, many Utes hate them. Anyone care to explain?

Yeah, it’s Harlan’s fault that the Pac-12 fell apart. It’s a bad take. Harlan has done a great job with the athletic program. Nearly every program is improving. You do realize that most national pundits have Utah in the Top-15, even many in the Top-10. Not sure where your outrage over a lot of disrespect is coming from. About the only place I see it is on BYU sites and some Big-12 youtubers.

You are way off if you think Toll hates Utah and wants us to go to 0-12. He certainly respects the program, even if he and much of the big-12 hate our fans – justifiably so mind you – but Toll in a different video picked Utah as most likely to be the power team in the conference over the next few years.

Except that’s because Texas played aTm and OU played OSU on Thanksgiving weekend. We should be playing either BYU or Colorado that weekend. Not effing UCF who none of us care about.
