100%. This is now or (probably) never for Utah. This may be our best and only shot ever again at the playoff or a natty. Beyond that, it is critical to attempt to position us for the B1G or SEC (which we shouldn’t discount as geography no longer matters).

If that’s really the case, then staying in the Pac12 with UW and OU is worth it. IMO, the B1G is crazy for not adding UW.

This team has the makings for a special year, but it’s hard to run table, especially as a power 5 team. But I’d our Utes can manage no more than 1 loss, we may just find ourselves in the playoff.

Thrilled for him to be in the NFL, not thrilled he went to the Jaguars. Basically, if you are drafted to the Jaguars, Jets, or Lions you are headed to purgatory.

That’s great and all, but we need to be stacked at CB, that’s what killed us in the Rose Bowl and it doesn’t seem like they’ve done much to remedy that. It’s the only position im very concerned about.

NIL doesn’t define the success of an AD. Is it a consideration? Sure. But basically every sports program at the U is thriving or vastly improving aside from MBB (which is frustrating btw), it seems to me that Mark is doing a great job.

Love the Utes recent dominance. Do wish more schools fielded Ski teams, Wyoming used to have one and has won a few natty’s in it. I’ll admit, I never expected the Utes to field a solid Baseball team (nor Swimming and Diving for that matter) in the Pac-12. Our athletic department is fantastic. Now if only Men’s basketball could pull their heads out of their rear.

Honestly, more power to them. I couldn’t care less. If they want to go be semi-pro, let them go be semi-pro. I don’t like the NFL for a reason and the more P5 becomes like the NFL the less I like. So the SEC can go do their thing, bring USC, UCLA and Oregon along with them, I’ll be just fine enjoying the College Football that I already love so much.

This makes me more pleased with the signing. I was wondering why another LB? I still think we need to shore up our secondary and OL. But what do I know?

I mean, I won’t denigrate any transfer the coaches want, but I’d rather see OL and DB support.
