Cold blooded Whit right there. The greatest play of the season was that Whit time out, 2nd best was the subsequent punt return.

Whoa, he’s going to be the head coach at RB High?? That’s the high school where we lived in San Diego (we left right before my daughter’s freshman year) and the school Devaughn Vele went to. I’m stoked my all time favorite Ute will be the head coach there!

It’s hilarious how quickly NIL went from being Name, image, likeness to just openly paying players. And interestingly it appears the BYU opened that pandora’s box.

I bought a white long sleeved Utah rose bowl shirt and I’ll wear it frequently. It’s comfortable shirt and it’s Ute gear. It’ll probably evolve into my boating shirt.

Well, it’s just for a max 3 playoff games, probably just 1 or 2. He won’t be playing next season. This isn’t some permanent thing, it’s to fill a gap and need for the Rams due to a depleted secondary (too bad he didn’t have college eligibility left for the Rose Bowl!).

No one in my group got it. I’m vaccinated and then got Covid after, so I’m pretty well protected I presume. My kids aren’t vaccinated but did have it in September so they probably have some immunity left.

Also, Covid doesn’t seem to spread much outdoors, though the likelihood was higher with so many people so close together.

Pretty amazing for Barnes and an awesome story! So I understand your point but the problem I see is that the vaccine, masks, and isolation are the only remedies prescribed by the government (and for some reason everyone went crazy and started to trust the government without questioning all the sudden) when there are many other options and recommendations that health researchers and scientists…[Read more]

I think the problem we are seeing, and I think you’d find the same, is that much science around Covid is being ignored. The only solutions offered by the CDC are the vaccine and masks. There is no guidance or recommendations around things we could be doing beyond that to protect ourselves, early / non-hospitalization treatments,etc.

On whether what will happen?

Conveniently ignoring the fact that these 30K cases are largely little worse than the common cold. Why do we care about how many people get it if it is minor illness. We don’t cancel games because of the cold or the flu, so why are we over Omicron?

There are two things I hate about this board 1) Too many posts about BYU / Cougarboard. 2) complaining about local media. The latter is completely irrational and demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of what the media’s job is.

Otherwise, this board is awesome.

I’m planning on it. I have a client in Orlando, so I think I’ll be visiting them the day before. #businesstrip
