I think the following are locks: Oregon, Texas, Penn St, GA, ND, OSU, Tennessee, Indiana, and either ASU or ISU and with Boise or UNLV.
The only drama aside from the MWC and Big 12 is what happens if SMU loses to Clemson. Obviously, Clemson would be in.

Been hearing a lot of news about transfers out of schools across the country, but haven’t heard anything about Utah. Who, if anyone, has announced they are entering the portal?
I expected there to be a huge rush of outgoings immediately after the season ended, I’m surprised with how quiet it’s been.

Some of these I agree with others I disagree with. Regardless, I want Whit to stay. He’s one of the great coaches in the country, not just coaches, but CEO’s of a CFB team. It’s a lot more than just coaching. I hope he stays.

It’s not pathetic at all, they should claim the title. And so should Utah for 2009. We Ute fans should have UCF’s back more than anyone as we know how it feels to get screwed, except for us it was twice, because of a crappy, unfair system.
I don’t know if it’s the case for UCF, but the NCAA actually recognizes Utah as co-Champions that season…[Read more]

2. He’s a top 10 or 20 HC in the game
Why are you all so quick to assume that this season is the new normal? It’s far more likely under Whit that this is the anomaly.

Shouldn’t Whit be given that chance to evolve or die. He’s embraced NIL, he’s embraced the transfer portal, and he’s made it very clear that he’s looking at everything right now and how the program needs to evolve.
