I’d say give him one more year to turn it around, I think all coaches should be given a minimum 3 years.

But this isn’t Coach’s 2nd year, it’s his 20th and this is his first failure of a season. He deserves another 4 or 5 at minimum if he wants it to turn it around. He’s earned at least that much.

Yep, you’ve been a fan that long and one bad season is enough to throw it all away? Give me a break.

Whit deserves all the criticism he’s getting this season. He should be getting crushed for it and he is. But you don’t fire one of the great coaches in the country over one bad season after 20 years of success.

Yet lowly Utah who had been irrelevant prior to that except the year before managed to go:

1. Undefeated in 2008 and finished 2nd in the country

2.Got promoted to the Pac 12

3. Won 2 Pac12 Championships

4. Played in two Rose Bowls

5. Has one of the highest % of weeks ranked in the CFP rankings

I’ve never understood why Ute fans hate Boise State. If anything we should be BCS buster bros. One in solidarity.

The writing is on the wall that the CFP doesn’t view the Big 12 or ACC any different than the MWC or AAC.

If this is the case, I’d almost rather be in the new pac 12 than in a conference with Houston and Cincinnati.

That’s an easy answer, more practice time and development time. Whit has mentioned this on numerous occasions over the years.

It was around that time when it started, I moved from Hawaii in late 2013 and my username is AlohaUte, so I know I created this account in that time frame. Regardless, this isn’t the only place Ute fans congregate, whether then or now. And a lot of the fans here used to be on UF.N and Twitter.

I’m perfectly ok if Whit retires. That’s his choice and right. But he shouldn’t be fired and I personally think that those calling for him to be out are crazy.

Go look at how many teams made the change because it wasn’t quite the success they wanted but it was still good. I give you Nebraska as exhibit A and Colorado as Exhibit B. I’m genuinely curious, why the hate for Harlan? I don’t get it. The whole sports program at the U seems to be doing really well. FB (aside from this season), WBB, Skiing, WVB, etc etc. The only program really failing that I know of is MBB.

Meh, that’s minor in the scheme of things. Though it does suck.
