I definitely don’t think that we’re one coach away from greatness. What I can’t get over is seeing schools that have fewer basketball resources do better than Utah. How are Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s, both small Catholic schools with budgets dimensions smaller than the flagship university of the State of Utah, serial entrants to the NCAAs?

Absolutely…I can’t understand how something like that isn’t reviewed.

Ridiculous…10 turnovers in 16 minutes of the 1st half…and most of them were of the unforced variety. Why do the Utes look like they’ve never played with each other whenever they go on the road?

What does Smith see in Keller besides being a big body? He needs to throw it down instead of laying it up when going to the basket.

Plus making TOs on multiple trips down the court.

Utah has most certainly exceeded my expectations but leaves me with a feeling of what could have been if they had just been mediocre in shooting FTs in a few games. I’m not certain that Lovering qualifies for a “Covid Year”, since he was still in high school when the policy was implemented. My understanding is that the “Covid Year” exception only applies to individuals who were athletes during the 19-20 and 20-21 seasons. Lovering didn’t start college at Colorado until 21-22.

Where are they playing this season? I know that season tickets cost about the same as a meal at McDonald’s.

This is an interesting comment. The reason I say that is because, in the six seasons that I’ve been going to MBB on a regular basis, I personally have never had a single issue with parking or departing a game.
