Yeah, that was me with that comment. When I hear “Outlaws” I get a Bad News Bears vibe with whatever all that entails.

Yeah, me too…and I’m voting that way tomorrow…it’s also a way to stick it to Yeti LLC legally. The official name will be UHC but the unofficial name, and the one that all fans will use, will be Yetis. Plus, all the merch will have a Yeti, the mascot will be a Yeti, etc…

Well, it looks like if UHC is selected as the team’s name, they’ll really be the Yetis unofficially. I’m talking the team mascot will be a Yeti, merch will have a Yeti on them, the team will be nicknamed the Yetis by fans and media…there just won’t be anything with the name “Yeti” officially sold by the team or signage in the arena.

Jim, could be the reason for that attendance is that Logan is a true college town. Lots more things to do on an everyday basis in the SLC metro.

I don’t think so. From what I’ve read, one of the main reasons why Outlaws and Mammoth are still around is precisely because they have no copyright issues.

I told another fan at the last home game that it would be great if Utah could find a head coach that could recruit like Larry K and coach like Smith. Those guys do exist but they’re hard to find and not on Utah’s radar.
