I sincerly hope he is well enough to go this weekend, even though we should not need him for Cal.  I’d much rather see him 100%, with an easier game this week and therefore better prepared for the tough one next week.
 

Utah not playing today, was probably a good thing, as once again, the PAC-12 beat itself into submission.

Many have commented in the past two weeks about the change of personalities during the 2-6 PM time slot on ESPN700.  Most liked Ben, many disliked Gunther, and very few were in favor of “The Return of Checketts”.  I commented that I never cared for Checketts, and did not want to have fulltime NBA centric…[Read more]

Finally caught up today on some of the early pre-season top 25 predcitions.  I’m obviously pleased to see the Utes featured often, sometimes prominently, and only completely missing on a few.
